Barkham Office Furniture has long been a trusted name in second-hand office furnishings, known throughout Berkshire and beyond for its commitment to sustainability and high-quality pre-owned products. As the company approached a new era of growth, it sought to modernize its visual identity while staying true to its roots in simplicity, reliability, and environmental responsibility.


My role was to lead a comprehensive brand redesign refreshing Barkham’s visual language to reflect its evolution and values in the 21st century. This involved a full overhaul of the logo, brand colour palette, iconography, and digital presence, including social media visuals and communication assets.


The new design direction embraces a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic, aligning with Barkham’s ethos of “doing more with less.” Clean typography, subtle neutral tones, and thoughtful use of space echo the brand’s focus on sustainability and simplicity. The refreshed identity presents Barkham as both modern and approachable, reinforcing its position as a leader in sustainable office furniture solutions.


The result is a timeless, cohesive design system that bridges Barkham’s trusted heritage with its forward-thinking vision—bringing a beloved local brand confidently into the present day.
